The VL Ring Crown Family, inspired by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen’s iconic design for the Danish Broadcasting House in Copenhagen, stands as a timeless masterpiece. Originally conceptualized in the 1940s, this collection now features wall lamps and pendant lights that effortlessly blend organic forms with modern elegance. Vilhelm Lauritzen’s artistic vision extended to the creation of the VL38 and VL45 lamps, while the original VL Ring Crown design was later reimagined for the Danish porcelain manufacturer Bing & Grøndahl in Copenhagen, thanks to designer Finn Juhl.
Reintroduced in 2019, the VL Ring Crown retains its original materials and impeccable design, crafted from untreated, polished brass and adorned with three, five, or seven shades of glossy white, triple-layered, handblown opal glass. This collection not only complements the original wall lamps and pendant lights installed at the Danish Broadcasting House but also adds a distinct, authentic touch to stylish interiors.
